We understand that before you commit to a boudoir photoshoot, you may have a lot of questions about how things work. Hopefully these will help, but if you have anything specific you would like to ask before you book a shoot with us, why not just send us a quick mail through our contact page.

Where are the LeBoudoir studios?

Our studio is based in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. Give us a call, and we’ll make sure you have directions.

How far in advance should I book for a shoot?

If you are hoping to have your images for a special occasion then we recommend booking at least a month before. We are especially busy around seasonal occasions (Valentines etc).

How will I look in my photos?

We have learned over the years how to ensure the right poses for women of many different body shapes. Our aim is to make sure we find the most flattering pose for you. We also use various lighting techniques that ensure your images come out beautifully. You will love the results we get.

I feel nervous about the shoot

It is completely natural to feel nervous. After all this is a big step you’ve taken. Remember, everything we do is designed to put you at ease. Our aim is to make this the most enjoyable experience ever. While you are in the studio it will only be you and your female photographer. Our studio is a low light studio and very comfortable. Once you are here, you will already feel at ease as we talk about your entire shoot before we start.

What can I expect when we start?

Once we’re done talking through your shoot, if you’ve booked a make up artist, you will spend some time with her to ensure you are styled correctly. Then you will guided through your shoot with your female photographer helping you to find the most flattering sexy poses for your body. After the shoot your images will be prepared and a few days later, your best shots will be ready for you to view in your secure online gallery. You can then choose the images you would like enhanced.

Who gets to see my images?

At Le Boudoir we pride ourselves on the fact that we are an all-female studio. All work is processed in-house. The only people who will see your images is your female photographer .

What shoot should I come for?

We try to cater for all needs, and therefore offer packages that cater for every occasion. We have specific shoots for Pregnant women and for Bridal. These speak for themselves and are tailored for that very special occasion. Then we have 3 further packages to consider. If you simply want to test the waters, the “Petite” shoot is a good start while the Deluxe version is our most popular as it provides a longer photoshoot. The new Makeover shoot is a designed for those who really want to reignite the glamour in their lives. It includes the makeup artist and is designed to give you the most time possible to transform yourself into a glamour goddess.

What must I bring to the shoot?

This is a personal, but we recommend that you bring some of your favourite shoes, underwear and accessories. We also have a number of items available that can be used in the shoot.

What about my hair and make up?

Apart from the “makeover” shoot, sylists like make up artists are optional extras, so please arrive at the shoot with your hair and make up as you would like to have it. We will do our best to make sure it all looks good on the camera, but being prepared will ensure we can use our time for the important stuff, like your images.

Will my images be enhanced?

Yes, we smooth images and remove blemishes to your chosen images. This is an optional extra R100 per image.  Any specific skin toning or touch up requests will be discussed with you.

What should I budget for?

We offer a range of shoots that we keep between R450 and R1500 as standard. Images will cost R30 for unedited and R100 for enhanced images.
